NEW VIDEO - Someday

March 18, 2018SHARE:

As a band we work to encourage meaningful connections, stronger community, and promote well-being in society. Did you know that Bicycles played an essential role in women's liberation, and that they continue to be a tool for self-empowerment today. That's exactly the goal of the Women's Earn-a-Bike program at CommonWheels Bicycle Collective based in Allston, MA. Through this program, women of all ages and income levels learn how to repair and maintain a bike by fixing up a donated bicycle that becomes their own at the end of the six-week class series.

To shine a light on this incredible program we made this rolling music video on a sunny fall day in Allston, MA in collaboration with CommonWheels Bicycle Collective and Buca Boot, with bicycles made by UpCycles.

***If you enjoyed this video go to http://www.commonwheels.org/donate/ to put more wrenches in the hands of more women and keep us all pedaling toward a more feminist future.

NEW VIDEO - If You Can Hear Me

March 13, 2018SHARE:

On our most recent trip to Belgium we played an intimate studio concert. Twenty people wearing headphones crammed themselves into a tiny recording studio and surrounded us while we played for them in the round. When the show was over they wouldn't let us leave without playing a few more songs. This video is of the very first song we played that night. The beautiful song, written by songwriter & banjo player Taylor Ashton, is the last song on our album California Calling.

NEW VIDEO - Pace Myself

January 22, 2018SHARE:

As an all LADY band we have had our share of experiences where gender and sexuality played a bigger role than we wished. This fall we set out to build something in contrast to that. We reached out to the many talented and hardworking female, female identifying and femme musicians we know and asked them to be a part of our video. After months of collecting footage with the help of patient ninja Sean Trischka, #PaceMyself the video is here!
